Jim is a
retired oilfield service provider representative with
broad volunteer and community experience. Since moving
to the Central Okanagan West area with his wife of over
4 decades Anne, Jim has been involved with many
community and regional volunteer groups.

Jim Edgson's Mission Statement
I will listen to get information and facts, and wherever possible,
work with people to build community solutions and to champion those
solutions which will serve the community well. |

Jim is or has been involved with many
community and regional volunteer groups including:

Chair of the Westside North Advisory
Planning Commission

Co-founder of the Westside Road
Improvement Committee

Westside North Resident
representative for the Bear Creek Motorized Area

Service with local community
organizations
Jim is trained and certified as an
Emergency Social Services Director and assists Anne and the North
Westside Emergency Social Services team at appropriate times. Anne
is also a trained and certified ESS Director. Jim and Anne work with
a North Westside team of 28 other ESS volunteers and the rest of the
Central Okanagan ESS teams based in Kelowna.
In addition to being committed to serving the Central Okanagan West
Electoral area, Jim is also committed to cross country skiing in the
winter, and canoeing, boating, fishing, camping, and riding his
touring motorcycle in the summer along with Anne.
